China Shipping Company has joined with OOCL and ZIM Israel Navigation to open Far East-Australia express service. The three partners have put five container ships into service, each able to carry 2,700 to 3,000 20-foot containers. Li Kelin, President of China Shipping Company, said the new service will handle containers shipped from ports in East China, South China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to Australia.
