Junshan silver needle tea was cultivated in the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907) and was listed as a tribute to the imperial court in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

The tea looks golden and tastes nice. Put the tea in boiled water, the tea will suspend in the water with needles pointing to the sky and will go up and down three times. The tea was listed among the top 10 Chinese famous teas in 1957.
