One-day tour of Changsha-Shaoshan city (Dishui Cave)

Take a tourist bus to the Huaminglou scenic spot in the morning (78km, arrive in 80 minutes). Visit the Liu Shaoqi Memorial Hall, the former residence and the bronze statue square. Afterward, take the bus for 40 minutes to Shaoshan, the birthplace of Chairman Mao.
Visitors can enjoy the countryside scenery before visiting the Memorial Hall. After lunch, visit the Mao Zedong Bronze Statue Square, which was built to commemorate the 100th birthday of Comrade Mao Zedong. Take the bus to the Dishui Cave scenic spot, popularly known as the "mysterious cave in the west of Shaoshan".
Chairman Mao stayed in the Dishui Cave for 10 days and 11 nights from June 18 to 28, 1966. The architecture of Dishui Cave is built in the styles of the Beijing Zhongnanhai compound, featuring black bricks and gray tiles. Visitors will pass the Mao Zhengong Temple, the ancestral hall of Chairman Mao's family.
They will then take the bus to the former residence of Chairman Mao that looks like an ordinary farmhouse in south China though it is an auspicious land. Take the bus back to Changsha to end the journey. Visitors may buy souvenirs at local specialty stores and pearl shops.
