Route of travel:

First day: Gather at the Apollo Square of Changsha Railway Station at 07:30 or 15:30 and depart from there to tour the "most beautiful road of Hunan province". Tourists will travel along Ningxiang, Yiyang, Changde, Taoyuan, Yuanling, Luxi, and Jishou, and enjoy the charming rural sceneries of northern Hunan. The bus will arrive at Fenghuang six hours later. Tourists will have a free tour of the ancient town of Fenghuang. The tourist spots include: Dongzhen Street, Wenxing Street, the commercial streets of Ming and Qing dynasties, Huilong Pavilion, Tuojiang scenic belt, southern gate tower, Shawan scenic zone, hanging building complex, Hongqiao Fengyu Building, and the Shen Congwen tomb. The spots in the northern gate wharf area include Tuojiang Leaping Rock, northern gate tower, and Tuojiang River. The night scenes of Fenghuang are very attractive. Tourists may attend the large bonfire evening party of the Miao ethnic characteristics at their own expense.

Second day: Tour the Heavenly King Temple scenic spot at 07:30. The Heavenly King Temple is a religious attraction with classical ancient architecture and is a site commemorating the Revolution of 1911. Tourists may have a panoramic view of the ancient town of Fenghuang at the temple. There will be a free tour of the ancient town of Fenghuang. At night, tourists can see the unique local features, stroll along the ancient blue flagstone lanes, or take a look at the handiworks of western Hunan.

Third day: Leave towards Shanjiang Town of Fenghuang at 07:30 to tour the primitive Shanjiang Miao Village. As the last village ruled by Miao King in western Hunan, the village retains centuries-old folk customs of the Miao ethnic group. Tourists may visit the Shanjiang Miao Village Museum, the only privately run Miao museum in China with 20,000 collection pieces. They may tour the mansion of Long Yunfei, the last Miao monarch. Tourists can also watch large-scale song and dance performances of the Miao ethnic group and tour the Qiantan Miao Village, Miao King Cave and Fenghuang Miao Folk Customs Craft Research Institute. Tourists will gather to return to Changsha in the afternoon to end the trip.
