Liuye Lake Tourist Resort

To the northeast of the ancient city of Changde is the Liuye Lake that is shaped like a willow leaf.

This area is ideal for recreation, relaxation and aquatic sports. In the resort, there is the White Crane Hill, Flower Hill, and Sun Hill, all covered with pine and fir trees.

There are islets in the lake that shimmer like emeralds in blue water. Yinyuan Garden, Wujianping Terrace and Mount Zhangjia --a graveyard since the Warring States Period (475-221BC)-- add a rich cultural atmosphere to the natural scenery.
