Changsha party chief meets chairman of JTouch Corporation

Chen Run'er, secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, met a visiting delegation of JTouch Corporation led by its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Yeh Yu-Chou on the morning of Jan 13, 2012 in Changsha, Hunan.

Chen extended a welcome to the delegation. He said Changsha boasts a deep pool of talents in the electronic information industry, laying a solid foundation for this sector's development. The Changsha plant of JTouch Corporation will serve as a new driving force for the city's electronic information industry chain.

He said that Changsha will fully support the development of JTouch Corporation by building a good investment platform and creating a sound investment environment.

Yeh Yu-Chou is keen on Changsha's promising development, saying that he is willing to carry out industry- academia-research institution cooperation with Hunan's colleges and universities. He is also pleased to announce that the corporation's Changsha branch is projected to independently produce the world's first thin-film television in a period of five to ten years.

In 2010, JTouch Corporation established a 150,000-sqaure-meter plant in Changsha, which started production in September 2011.
