As a part of a 2016 program to promote young curators supported by the Ministry of Culture, the National Art Museum of China is holding an exhibition called "New Tale of the Orient" from Feb 24.
The event aims to reflect how contemporary Asian artists inherit the essence of traditional Asian culture through their works.
The exhibition showcases works by young and rising artists, in which traditional culture from the Orient and influences from the West are delicately intertwined.
The artists intend to reveal the relations among spaces, materials, standards and inner self through their art.
The exhibition will run through March 5.
