Liaoning province ink artist Shi Qi will stage his international debut at the Louvre. An exhibition of about 60 of Shi's innovative colored-ink paintings will be displayed at the French museum from Dec 13-20.
The exhibition "will offer Europeans a close look at the 73-year-old's decades-long pursuit of a modern Chinese ink art, which truly reflects modern life and harks back to contemporary people's changing aesthetics", curator Guo Qingxiang says.
