Hangzhou-based artist Jin Yide showcases his early work of magnolia blossoms and his recent series The Elderly. A professor at China Academy of Fine Arts, Jin studied under Romanian artist Eugene Popa in the 1960s. In The Elderly series, which he started in 2005, Jin uses strong dark lines to show the process of aging in an expressive manner.
