A Taiwan flavor

China Daily | Updated: 2012-08-17 15:53

Taiwan province artists are known for their delicate handmade traditions, their infatuation with history, and their willingness to submerge themselves into the seemingly more mundane aspects of life. Now, fans in Beijing can have a generous sampling of the authentic "Taiwan flavor" at the ongoing Taiwan fine craft exhibition. Some 30 artists will display 80 groups of works, covering three thematic sections. From the adoption of island-grown materials to embracing the tribal culture of aborigines, the exhibition reflects the title of the exhibition, Quintessentially Taiwan.

Until Aug 22. Taiwan Club, Qianmen Dongdajie, Dongcheng district, Beijing.
