The opera house consists of the Changyin Pavilion (opera tower), Banxi Tower (backstage) and Yueshi Tower (auditorium). This is the first time that Banxi Tower was opened to the public. Several exhibitions have been held at Changyin Pavilion and Yueshi Tower. After the transformation, the three parts of the opera house link up with each other. Banxi Tower also serves as an exhibition hall of opera relics.

The new royal opera house is designed to lead the audience to focus more on the stage rather than emphasizing the number of cultural relics. Special apparatus in Changyin Pavilion used in the performance and duplicates of relics utilized by staff will bring a more vivid show to the audience.
