One of the most anticipated action films of the summer, SPL 3: Paradox, will hit to nearly half of China's 45,000 screens on Aug 17.
The film, starring Hong Kong superstar Louis Koo, and action stars Wu Yue, Tony Jaa (Thailand) and Chris Collins (the United States), is set in Thailand.
The story is about a Hong Kong policeman who is looking for his lost daughter.
The movie is jointly produced by the Hong Kong-based studios, Sil-Metropole Organization Ltd and Sun Entertainment Culture Ltd, and the Beijing-based company Bona Film Group.
Cheang Pou-soi, the movie's executive producer and also a veteran Hong Kong filmmaker, says the film's action sequences are outstanding.
