Summer Palace in Beijing officially opens its flagship store on China's e-commerce platform Alibaba on Nov 29, 2016.
Deriving its name "Royal Business Street" from the Suzhou Street scenic spot within the park, the online store sells cultural and creative souvenirs, including royal ornaments, books, travel souvenir, and royal birthday gifts.
So far, a total of 53 items developed by the Summer Palace are available on the online store.
The cheapest item is the box of paper towels, selling at three yuan, while the APEC silk shawl is the most expensive, 9,980 yuan.
Giving new life to the relics and old items displayed at the exhibition room and storeroom is the aim of the online store, according to the Summer Palace authorities.
