'Just share it - Happy Chinese New Year 2016' announces result

The "Just share it - Happy Chinese New Year 2016" global online photo contest announced its results. This online campaign was sponsored by Chinaculture.org, organized by China Daily and supported by the Bureau for External Cultural Relations, Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China.

Launched on Jan 1, 2016, the global online campaign gained extensive attention from our domestic and foreign friends. We received more than 2,600 submissions from more than 350 participants in over 50 countries and regions, including the US, UK., Spain, Germany, Australia and Canada. Many of these photos reached a professional level, such as "Chinese New Year Family Festival at Smithsonian Museum", "Happy Chinese New Year flash mob in Ottawa shows the soft power of Chinese culture" and "Chongqing troupe at London museum".

According to the judges' grading results, 140 photos were selected. They will be included in the Ministry of Culture's publication, Happy Chinese New Year Photography Collection.

The “Just Share It” photo contest joins hands with the "Happy Chinese New Year" series of events, inviting people all over the world to share their photos and stories on various aspects of Chinese New Year via Chinaculture.org, China Daily Forum, Facebook and blog.

Chinaculture.org 's Facebook aroused hot discussion on Chinese culture during the contest. Foreign friends also shared their stories about Chinese New Year. "I adore Chinese culture and its society," said Alkobtan Thoma from Egypt. "Chinese people work hard and became an even greater people. I hope to live here forever." "Happy New Year to all of the Chinese people. Chinese people are very friendly and I hope the friendship between China and Pakistan will last forever," said Shah Fahad from Pakistan.

In 2015, Chinaculture.org successfully held its first "Just share it - Happy Chinese New Year" global online photo contest. The online campaign made a great impact and drew heavy response, with over 2,100 works from 35 countries and regions.

2016年“乐享中国——欢乐春节”征集活动结果揭晓由中国文化网主办，中国日报网承办，文化部外联局支持的2016年“乐享中国——欢乐春节” 摄影作品征集活动揭晓结果。

“乐享中国——欢乐春节”全球征集活动自2016年1月1日启动以来，获得海内外读者和网友的高度关注，参赛者踊跃投稿。共收到来自美国、英国、西班牙、德国、澳大利亚、加拿大等50余个国家和地区的350位中外网友的投稿，共收到摄影作品2600余幅，其中拍摄于国外的作品超过1800幅。在众多作品中不乏具有专业水准的摄影作品，如美国华盛顿“家庭日”过新春、加拿大渥太华“快闪”展现中国文化软实力和重庆剧团走进英国伦敦博物馆等系列作品。

综合专家评审团打分结果，“舞龙表演”等140幅作品被选为收藏作品，将被收录进文化部的外宣品《“欢乐春节”摄影集》。（获奖作品链接附后）

本次征集活动与文化部“欢乐春节”庆祝活动紧密联动，以中国文化网、中国日报网英文论坛、脸书、博客为载体，邀请全球网友通过图片的方式讲述在世界各地参与春节庆祝活动的场景，分享参与者与中国春节的故事。

在中国文化网脸书的活动页面上，不断有外国朋友加入关于春节以及中国文化的讨论，分享自己与中国春节的故事。生活在埃及的ALkobtan Thoma说非常崇拜中国的文化和社会，中国人都非常勤奋，是最伟大的民族之一，他希望能永远在中国生活。巴基斯坦人Shah Fahad祝所有中国人新年快乐，他很喜欢中国，因为他觉得中国人充满爱心并且工作努力，希望中国和巴基斯坦世代友好。

中国文化网于2015年成功举办第一届“乐享中国——欢乐春节”主题作品征集活动。收到来自美、英、澳、日等35个国家和地区、1200多位中外网友的原创作品2100多件，取得良好反响。
