The completion ceremony of the standing exhibition hall on the site of the 6th National Congress of CPC was held on July 4 in Moscow.
The exhibition hall is the sole place featuring the CPC history abroad. As a token of friendship between China and Russia, it is a priority for both countries, completed as scheduled through a nearly three-year effort by hundreds of workers.
The exhibition covers important incidents before, during and after the 6th National Congress of CPC, coupled with new developments of China-Russia relations, in the form of photos and a few replicas.
Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Gorodetz conveyed the congratulations of Chinese president Xi Jinping and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on this occasion respectively.
"The 6th National Congress of CPC is a milestone in Chinese revolutionary history. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the signing of 2001 Sino-Russian Treaty of Friendship and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination. So the completion of the exhibition hall is historic. The hall will help us remember history and deepen our friendship," President Xi noted in his congratulation letter.
In President Putin’s congratulation letter, he said, "The exhibition hall pays tribute to the history shared by Russia and China. Protecting our legacy has profound impact on our bilateral ties. It will facilitate our comprehensive strategic partnership."
