The coastal city of Weihai in East China's Shandong province will host a festival of short films in September.
The China-South Korea International Micro Film Festival is jointly organized by China Cultural Information Association, the organizing committee of the Busan International Short Film Festival and the Weihai local government.
The event's theme is "home", which filmmakers from both countries are expected to explore through their presentations.
In addition, short videos on the subject "Weihai through the lens" would be produced during the festival.
