The 25th Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival, featuring China's top film-industry awards, is teaming up with the country's key micro-film project for youth.
The festival, which is scheduled to open on Sept 21 in Tangshan, Hebei province, will include the 5th International Micro-Film Festival for University Students.
The micro-film event was co-launched by the China Film Association, Capital Normal University, and several other institutions. It encourages participants to explore the relationship between human beings, urban development and nature.
The past four micro-film festivals have attracted a total of 5,000 productions.
