The 2nd Global-China Dialogue of 2015 China-UK Year of Cultural Exchange: Transculturality and New Global Governance held its grand opening at the British Academy from Nov 23 to Nov 24. In his opening speech, Minister Counselor of Culture of the Chinese Embassy Xiang Xiaowei noted that the year 2015 is a milestone of the Sino-UK relationship and the friendship between the two nations has stepped into its golden age along with President Xi Jinping's visit in Britain. Professor Martin Albrow, Honorary Vice President of the British Sociological Association, gave a speech on President Xi's The Governance of China.
