EXO and BIGBANG win big at MAMA 2015

Taiwan singer Jolin Tsai won the Best Asian Artist. Best Male Artist went to Park Jin-young. Kim Taeyeon, leader of South Korean girlband Girls' Generation, was crowned the Best Female Artist.

"First of all, I would like to thank all of the people who liked my solo album 'I'. Thank you, Mr Lee Su-man, for giving me the opportunity to sing on the stage in the first place. All the staff in the S.M. Entertainment family, and my lovely members from Girls' Generation, and all my fans, thank you all for supporting me unconditionally."

Produced by a music television channel in South Korea, MAMA began as a music festival, and later on, evolved into a music show. The winners are chosen by a panel of industry experts while some categories are voted on by fans online. The organizers have taken MAMA to different Asian cities such as Macau, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
