More than 200 exhibits in the show are from the Geneva Museum of Art and History, for a museum famed for its color enameling collections. Classic artworks, such as Rochat Freres’Cage with Three Singing Birds and Striking Watch (1814), and François Dentand’s Pocket Watch with Calendar Display and Visible Balance-Cock (1700), are rarely-seen priceless treasures. There are also collections from Manufacture Vacheron Constantin, one of the major players in watch-making history.
"I’m satisfied with the exhibition. It’s great that (I can see) their craftsmanship. The explanation and the translation of the exhibits are very detailed. It’s more interactive." said a visitor surnamed Cai.
"The exhibition design is stylish and creative and it’s really amazing to see those craftsmen producing such exquisite watches by hand," said another visitor surnamed Zhang.
