Bans of selfies around the world
Bans against selfie taking, or the use of selfie sticks, have also been put in place in China. For instance, museums including the Palace Museum and Xi'an Museum have taken the lead earlier this year to prohibit the use of selfie sticks out of safety concerns.
Outside the museums, many countries and regions across the globe have also imposed a total prohibition on selfies. Let's take a look.

According to the Thai government, people, women in particular, who upload overexposed selfie photos to social media could be sentenced to up to 5 years in prison.
