Lifetime Achievement Award in Medical Education
Ba Denian,
born in 1938, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, immunologist and medical educator, former president of CAMS and PUMC. Ba has long devoted himself to reforming and developing a long-term medical education model on basis of the experience of PUMC. The successful education model has been promoted to other universities in China, owing to the radiating and leading role of PUMC in medical education filed in the nation.
Lang Jinghe,
born in 1940, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, National Outstanding Professor, former vice-president of PUMC Hospital. Lang has worked for medical treatment, teaching and scientific research of gynecology and obstetrics for more than five decades and made outstanding contributions in the field. Lang puts great importance on renewing teaching contents and reforming teaching methods, emphasizes conveying medical humanistic philosophy in teaching practice.
