Banks join hands with nearby nation to spur investment, growth
BUDAPEST - The Hungarian renminbi market has grown successfully, and renminbi, or Chinese yuan-based loans, accounts and deposits are available, National Bank of Hungary's executive director Daniel Palotai said.
"This year, we expect growth in the use of renminbi in commerce, in clearing transactions, and the renminbi quota of the National Bank of Hungary, is also increasing, strengthening the renminbi-Hungarian forint market as well," said Palotai, who is also the chief economist at the central bank.
