Debut set for latest stealth fighter jet
The People's Liberation Army Air Force will demonstrate its latest J-20 stealth fighter jet at an arms show next week, a PLA Air Force spokesman said at a news conference on Friday.
"The J-20 was designed ... for future aerial combat. Test pilots from the Air Force will use it to perform at the 11th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition," Senior Colonel Shen Jinke said.
The biennial, six-day event, commonly known as the Zhuhai Air Show, will start on Tuesday in the coastal city of Zhuhai, Guangdong province. It is believed to be the largest arms exhibition in Asia.
