NBA China working to build basketball legacy

It's a busy summer for NBA China.

It is deepening its relationship with partners and local governments to get involved in a series of programs and initiatives, such as organizing training clinics for PE teachers, inviting retired stars to inspire China's younger generation and launching charity activities in communities and schools.

The latest effort came on Sunday in Xianyang, Shaanxi province as NBA China and the Bank of China announced a new partnership to use basketball as a platform to inspire healthy, active lifestyles among underprivileged Chinese youth.
