Keep Tibet green is consensus at development forum

An international forum on Tibet's development has stressed the importance of preserving a green community.

"Tibet's development should give top priority to environmental protection and cultivate green models of development and living," said the 2016 Lhasa Consensus.

"Every tree and plant, mountain and river, on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau should be well preserved," it said.
