Cooperative work plan on climate change OK'd
Top officials from China and the United States approved their annual cooperative work plan on Monday in a joint action against climate change.
The work plan, which specifies key tasks to enhance cooperation this year, was approved at a conference on climate change held on the sidelines of the eighth China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue in Beijing.
It's now possible for the two countries to take more proactive steps to strengthen cooperation and explore new joint possibilities, especially those that boost green finance and encourage entrepreneurs to adopt low-carbon production strategies, US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew said.
