When we arrived at Guan Guojun's home in Wanzhuang village on Saturday, he still looked excited.
"The past month of torture is over," he said.
Guan is the son of Guan Qingji, a 58-year-old signal worker who was rescued on Friday night along with three other men after being trapped for 36 days in a collapsed gypsum mine in Pingyi, Shandong province. His father is now hospitalized.
