1. Wang Cizhao, president of the Central Conservatory of Music, has been given "a stern warning", a disciplinary measure under the rules of the Communist Party of China, for misusing his position to benefit his child, and was removed from all positions in the school.

Wang asked a business partner of the music school to give a discount for his daughter's wedding spending in June and solicited assistance from his colleagues and subordinates, said an announcement of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday.

Guo Shulan, Party chief of the music school, has been given a warning for the lack of oversight of implementing the Party's austerity rules.
