Sun answers critics after defending world 400 title

Sun Yang hit back at the criticism stemming from his doping ban after defending his world title in the 400 meter freestyle at the swimming world championships on Sunday.

China's anti-doping agency revealed in November that Sun served a three-month ban earlier last year after testing positive for the banned stimulant trimetazidine.

"For doping cases I don't understand why the media pay so much attention to this," Sun said.
