Wanda Hotels & Resorts announces new president

Wanda Hotels & Resorts, an international luxury hotel management company original from China, has appointed Qian Jin as president. In his new role, Qian will lead and oversee the international growth plan of Wanda Hotels & Resorts, and focus on the collective goals of the luxury hotel chain.

Qian has nearly 30 years in the luxury hospitality industry. He began his career at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. In 2000, Qian joined Starwood's regional headquarters in Singapore to oversee its Greater China operations. In 2012, he was named president of Greater China.

"I am honored to be appointed to this role," said Qian. "It is a very exciting time for Wanda Hotels & Resorts, I look forward to working closely with the management team to take the company to a new chapter, further reinforcing Wanda's leading position in the international market."

An MBA graduate of Bond University, Australia, Qian earned his doctorate degree in Business Administration from Victoria University.
