Jaycee Chan sentenced to six months in prison
Jaycee Chan, the son Chinese kung fu superstar Jackie Chan, was sentenced to six months in prison on Friday and fined 2,000 yuan ($322) for facilitating the drug use of others.
The younger Chan, 32, who is also a singer and actor from Hong Kong, pleaded guilty as he stood trial at Beijing's Dongcheng District People's Court. He confessed to the drug charges and said he will make an effort to clean up the negative effect to the public.
Under the law that a convict's sentence is counted from the date of arrest, Chan can be back home by Feb 14.
