South Africa after two decades of freedom

As South Africa celebrates 20 years since the end of apartheid, the Goldman Sachs Group released a report last month detailing achievements in the intervening years and key challenges the country now faces.

The report identifies 10 areas in which it believes South Africa has made structural advances and outlines 10 big challenges that remain to be tackled.

It also details key issues the authors believe need to be addressed to promote sustainable growth and employment.
