Green food producer to stay on top

Northern city hosts expo as part of industry development plans, Hao Nan reports.

The government of northern China's Heilongjiang province hosted a green and organic food expo in the provincial capital Harbin as its latest move to advertise the region's advantages and potential for developing the green food industry.

The four-day event, which started on Sept 26, drew more than 2,500 buyers from rural cooperatives, large supermarkets, related industrial associations and food processing companies in 31 provinces, cities and autonomous regions.
