Kashgar college to recruit, train teaching staff of new university

Kashgar Normal College will spend no less than 10 million yuan ($1.62 million) every year to attract talent and train teachers to establish a complete subjects system for Kashgar University, Erken Umar, dean of Kashgar Normal College, said.

The university, based at the Kashgar Normal College, has started construction of its new campus. Shenzhen city in Guangdong province, as the partner of Kashgar city, will pay half the construction cost, 1 billion yuan.

Kashgar University can educate students in management, economics and healthcare, which are in great demand in the south Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Erken said.
