Company Special: New Tingyi-PepsiCo plant goes online in Zhengzhou

PepsiCo and Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corp, one of the leading food and beverage companies in China, today announced the official opening of a new beverage plant in Zhengzhou, Henan province.

The Zhengzhou PepsiCo Beverages Co Ltd facility is the first plant for the alliance formed earlier this year to tap demand in China, projected to become the world's largest beverage market by 2015.

The Tingyi-PepsiCo alliance is already the No 1 liquid refreshment beverage partnership in China with more than 70 plants and a national distribution network.
