Wu begins his Open preparations in Sanya
The first Chinese man to qualify for the main draw of a Grand Slam event will get to sharpen his form at home first.
Wu Di, who made headlines by winning the Asia-Pacific Australian Open wildcard playoff on Sunday, will play a local tournament as a rehearsal for his history-making journey to Melbourne Park in January.
