A top sourcing show will soon kick off in Hong Kong at which more than 5,000 booths of export-ready Asian suppliers will showcase the very best and newest products.
Approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, Mega Show Part I is a key trade show with the most comprehensive selection of well-priced products, designed and produced in Asia and sold worldwide. It is expected to attract 55,000 trade buyers this year.
Products from 32 countries and regions will be on display, such as gifts, housewares, toys, luxury goods, stationery, glassware, gift wrapping and packaging, and festive products.
More than 650 companies this year will be presenting green products under the expanding "go green" campaign.
Meanwhile, designers and manufacturers in Asia are now contributing to the importance of sustainability by including eco-friendly products across all sectors of consumer retail goods.
The show will host Asian and international suppliers, including special group pavilions for nine regions - the Chinese mainland, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.
Kenfair Exhibition Ltd, which is hosting the show, said that Mega Show Part I will run from Oct 20 to Oct 23 this year at the award-winning Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
With 21 years of history, the trade show is a major buying and selling platform that brings together key global sourcing players in Hong Kong every October.
Since the first show opened in 1992 with 147 exhibitors and 13,500 trade buyers, it has grown into a one-stop showcase of more than 5,000 booths displaying products from nearly 3,600 Asian and international exhibitors.
The clearly defined product sectors that have been part of the shows for the past two years have been further enhanced to ensure buyers and sellers maximize the potential benefits from participating.
The organizing committee this year plans to include travel and accommodation packages that provide value for buyers coming from far away.
Additionally, organizers have enhanced the facilities with two VIP buyer lounges, ample refreshment areas, Wi-Fi access, travel and accommodation assistance, a business center, and an exhibitor locator system.
