Feng Shanshan (left) received a check worth $100,000 from her sponsor, the South Korean company Kolon Sport, at a party on July 14 in Beijing. The 22-year-old was awarded the money for her victory at the LPGA Championship in June. She became the first golfer from the Chinese mainland to win a major championship.
