Shenhua boss considers selling amid dispute
Shanghai Shenhua boss Zhu Jun (pictured) says he has lost interest in soccer and has hinted he would sell the club for 400 million yuan ($63.4 million) on his weibo account on Tuesday night.
According to Oriental Sports Daily, a paper in Shanghai, Zhu has halted talks with Didier Drogba and has called on the club to cancel Drogba's wife's trip to Shanghai, which was regarded as a prelude to the Cote d'Ivoire striker's arrival in the city.
After an ordinary season last year, in which Shenhua only managed to finish 11th, Zhu caught the spotlight by introducing French striker Nicolas Anelka as a member of his team last December. It was also reported that Anelka's former teammate Drogba would join Shenhua this summer and his wife was scheduled to visit Shanghai this week.
