Free parking eludes disabled drivers

By Wang Qingyun | China Daily | Updated: 2011-12-21 08:02

BEIJING - The latest parking-for-free policy for disabled drivers in Beijing has largely fallen on deaf ears since it was introduced this month.

Disabled drivers would not need to pay for using parking lots outside residential areas, according to an announcement made by local authorities on Dec 1.

Disabled drivers can file complaints to price supervisors in their districts if they find parking lots that defy the policy.
