Kunshan Special: Jiangsu city brings a better way of life with cooperative capital

The city of Kunshan, in Jiangsu province, is going to be a well-known, harmonious place, the local government has reported, and people's livelihoods are a major part of the project.

It may come as no surprise then that the ratio of urban to rural incomes in the city is now 1.75:1, according to Guan Aiguo, Party secretary of Kunshan.

Average per capita incomes in Datang village of the city were above 20,000 yuan ($3,130) in 2010.
