Poland takes EU helm, economic revival a goal

BEIJING - Poland made reviving economic growth a priority on the European Union's agenda on Friday, the first day of its rotating presidency, among increasing threats of sovereign debt crisis.
Efforts to boost common defense and the EU enlargement are also on the list.
