Honda to offer hybrid, electric models in China
SHANGHAI - Japan's Honda Motor Co plans to introduce a number of new-energy models in China through its local partners to tap into the growing personal car market.
Takanobu Ito, Honda's president, has said his company will introduce three petrol-electric hybrids to China next year - the Insight, CR-Z and Fit.
The Insight will be marketed through a joint venture with the Dongfeng Motor Corp. The other two will be marketed through another tie-up with the Guangzhou Automobile Group Co Ltd.
