In Japan-China trade shipping is of the essence
China-Japan trade has been around for decades in nearly all businesses, and shipping and logistics are a vital part of this connection.
Daiichi Chuo Kisen Kaisha is a dry bulk shipping company founded in 1892, and the first of its kind in Japan to secure long-term iron ore contracts from Chinese steel mills.
That was back in the mid-1990s and Daiichi, an affiliate of the steel making giant Sumitomo Metal, has a great deal of expertise in handling iron ore and steel products.
