Li Na happy with what she has; wants to enjoy tennis

China Daily | Updated: 2010-10-01 08:11

BEIJING - China's No 1 women's tennis player, Li Na, said she is satisfied with her achievements on the court this year and won't push herself to reach a higher world ranking at the China Open, which begins on Saturday.

"I hope I can play well, but nobody can keep moving forward all the time," said Li, who is ranked No 12 in the world and attained a career-best mark of No 9 in August.

"I am not young and I can no longer take the harsh training and intensive play without being concerned about my physical condition," she said.
