Foreign travel agencies to see growth

New policy will benefit Chinese counterparts

Beijing - China may allow foreign travel agencies to sell services to Chinese tourists heading for overseas destinations, a Chinese tourism official said over the weekend.

"Although allowing foreign travel agencies the business may bring some challenges especially at the initial state, in the long term it will benefit China's tourism industry," said Chinese National Tourism Administration Chairman Shao Qiwei.
