WASHINGTON/JERUSALEM - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Friday invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to resume direct talks in Washington on Sept 2 with an aim to reaching a peace deal within one year.
