Free medical examinations for model workers

A five-year medical examination program for more than 10,000 model workers in Beijing was launched on Thursday.
Officials will select as many as 2,000 model workers to be the first to receive free medical examinations in 2010.
Authorities select model workers every five years and there are currently about 13,000 model workers in Beijing.
