Refs under fire after remarkably poor start to World Cup

The German Bundesliga defeated English Premier League in a the World Cup second-round match on Sunday night.

Though Germany were deserved victors, their latest World Cup victory over England will not only be remembered for the brilliant goals by Miroslav Klose, Lukas Podolski or Thomas Mueller but also for the one by Frank Lampard that didn't count for England.

For players, coaches, thousands of fans in the stadium and millions more watching on television, there's no question Lampard put a shot across the line late in the first half that would have tied the score at 2-2.
